Longer Lasting Cut Flower Bouquets - A1 Delhi Bangalore Flowers

Delhi flowers delivery - When I first started researching this topic, "when to cut" meant morning, noon or night (morning is best). But I discovered that more importantly it is when the flower is at the right stage to get the longest bloom. Different flowers are cut at different stages; for instance roses should be cut at bud stage or when the first petal or two unfurl. Snapdragons and gladiolus are best when half of the flowers on the stem are open. Daisies, zinnias, cosmos and coneflowers should be cut when the petals are fully opened but the centers are still firm and have not gone to seed. Charts and guides are available in books and on websites.
Who doesn't love receiving flowers. They make great gifts but they have a very limited life. Would you like to learn how to make your flowers last for days or even a week longer? Of course you would so read along.

Bangalore flowers delivery - After you receive your flowers you need to immediately place them in water. Prepare the water carefully. Make sure that you use the flower food provided by the florist. It will treat the water and make it more suitable for flowers. If your florist has not provided you with flower food, try to use distilled water which contains less minerals and will be easier for the flowers to absorb. Before you place the flowers in the water, cut the stems to expose fresh flower stem.
Here are some tips on how to extend the shelf life of your roses:

1. Remove the roses from the vase and put them in a temporary container.

2. Clean the vase by washing it thoroughly in water with household bleach.

3. Fill the vase with fresh water and add a half teaspoon of household bleach for each litre (16 fluid ounces) of water.

4. Remove your roses from their temporary container and lay them flat on a counter top.

5. Remove any leaves which will show below the waterline in the vase.

6. Cut about 20 mm (3/4 inch) from the base of each stem immediately before placing it in the vase. This removes any air bubbles.

7. Don't place roses in drafts or direct sunlight, or near fruit, heaters, TVs or refrigerators.

8. Change the water daily to extend the vase life of your roses.

Delhi flowers delivery - A teaspoonful of bleach in your water vase will keep your freshly cut flowers stay fresh and longer. Also, another famous recipe is adding drops of bleach and a teaspoonful of sugar in 1 quart of water. This helps on keeping the water from producing bacteria and getting it cloudy. Other blooms will prolong its life and stay fresh by adding a copper penny and a dash of sugar into the water.
