Flowers – nurture the magnificent gift from nature

Ever wondered why your garden looks special? It is nothing but those charming blooms that fill your garden. The early morning bliss showered by sun rays gets scattered by these beautiful creations of God. Blossoms are wonderful both aesthetically and by their fragrance.
They present a feeling of calmness and happiness. Nature has a lot of such gifts for mankind and each flower has its own bliss in the giant world out there.
With about 130 million years of successful existence, flowers have witnessed every event, special days and all those emotions that were shared. Without spelling a word, they expressed the meaning of contentment.
Caring your bloom
Extreme care is required for proper growth of a flower. It requires enough shine and water to nurture itself. Temperate mode of climate is the best suited to grow flowers like Rose and tulip.
These flowers are usually grown in yards or in huge gardens. They require enough fertilizers and pesticides to stay clear of any attacks. Groundhogs and beetles will destroy the soft petals if proper care is not provided.
Certain type of deer is known to eat off the entire stem system. If there is a threat existing in your area, it is advised to put wire fences to protect the bulbs from being destroyed. Mulching and using drip irrigation techniques will make sure that the soft soil is dampened and water is not wasted during the process. Flowering plants do require 6-8 hours of sunshine which is unavoidable.
The result of all this hard work is priceless blooms which require special care during plucking. The stem has to be pruned along with the blossom to be used in bouquets. A mix of variety of blooms of the same plant will make sure that your orchard is vibrant yearlong. Cut flowers like lilies and tulips can also be made by spending bit of stretch and time.
